UAV Harvesting of Strobili from Coniferae
Funded by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, this undergraduate research project included a team of SMU senior students. The goal was to improve strobili (cone) harvesting techniques by safely and efficiently gathering them directly from high in conifer (Coniferae) trees.
